Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Own technical engagement and success for assigned federal accounts from discovery through operational implementation and transition.
  • Design end-to-end logical and physical solution architectures covering deployment, scaling, reliability, security, and accreditation for federal and classified environments.
  • Lead technical workshops and translate mission objectives, requirements, and success criteria into implementation-ready designs.
  • Advise on cloud, hybrid, on-premises, tactical edge, and air-gapped or classified deployment tradeoffs, and deliver customer and conference demonstrations.
  • Shape opportunities before formal RFI/RFP release and serve as the primary technical author for federal solicitations and proposals.
  • Lead proposal content covering solution approach, architecture, integration, security, risk mitigation, accreditation, and compliance.
  • Define integration patterns, APIs, data flows, runbooks, deployment and upgrade approaches, and sustainment models for federal environments.
  • Account for cybersecurity and compliance requirements such as RMF packages, ATO processes, DoD Cloud Computing SRG impact levels, and TS-aligned environments.
  • Communicate customer needs to Product Management and Engineering, influencing roadmap priorities and identifying productization opportunities.
  • Partner with delivery teams and partners on implementation, escalations, tuning, accreditation, post-launch adoption, and transition to sustained operations.
  • Maintain repeatable demonstrations for Department of War, Intelligence Community, and Federal Civilian prospects and use feedback to inform proposals and the roadmap.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Technical Consulting, or technical program delivery supporting U.S. Federal customers.
  • Experience shaping opportunities before RFP release and authoring technical proposal content, including narratives, diagrams, and compliance responses.
  • Strong architecture fundamentals across cloud and hybrid deployments, tactical edge, networking, identity, security controls, enterprise integration, APIs, data pipelines, and regulated federal environments.
  • Ability to translate mission needs into implementable architectures and explain tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication and ability to produce high-quality technical proposal content under deadline.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance are required.
  • Active Secret, TS, or TS/SCI clearance or prior clearance eligibility is preferred.
  • Experience with geospatial or spatial computing, mapping/GIS, AI, robotics, or mission-critical deployments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal reference architectures and compliance frameworks including NIST 800-53/RMF, FedRAMP, DoD Cloud Computing SRG, or CMMC is preferred.
  • Experience partnering with Product Management to translate customer requirements into roadmap outcomes is preferred.
