Responsibilities
- Own customer deployments from initial architecture discussions through go-live and steady-state operation.
- Integrate the platform with customer identity, data, engineering systems, infrastructure, and model-serving layers.
- Partner with customer IT, security, and platform teams on assessments, architecture reviews, and production incidents.
- Diagnose failures across the platform, customer infrastructure, and external systems.
- Create runbooks, post-mortems, and deployment playbooks and provide feedback to Product.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience deploying and operating enterprise software in production, including 2 years in environments not controlled by the candidate.
- Configuration-depth Kubernetes knowledge, including chart values, rendered manifests, and workload troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of OIDC, SAML, identity clients, credential rotation, redirect URIs, and group-to-role mapping.
- Experience with Linux, networking, TLS, DNS, routing, ingress, egress, certificate chains, and interception proxies.
- Experience with Kubernetes persistent volumes, CSI, access modes, and diagnosing shared-storage degradation under load.
- A personally delivered and supported production deployment, with the ability to explain its timeline and problems encountered.
- Professional customer-facing English and willingness to travel and work customer hours.
- Preferred experience with regulated or air-gapped deployments, private registries, image mirroring, GPU scheduling, LLM serving, enterprise identity-provider administration, Terraform, GitOps, Prometheus, Grafana, HPC schedulers, ISO 27001 evidence, Python, and PLM, CAD, or CAE.
