Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end integration architecture and target landscapes using SAP Integration Suite and SAP PO.
- Establish integration standards, reusable patterns, naming conventions, and governance for consistency, quality, security, and scalability.
- Evaluate and select SAP and non-SAP integration technologies based on use case requirements, cost, and total cost of ownership.
- Design event-driven integration architectures with SAP Advanced Event Mesh, including event topologies and messaging patterns.
- Design secure and scalable API strategies with SAP API Management, including security, versioning, lifecycle governance, reusability, and AI- and agent-based integration readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on integration experience, including SAP PO and SAP backend integration.
- 4+ years of experience architecting solutions with SAP Integration Suite, including SAP Cloud Integration, SAP API Management, and SAP BTP.
- Solid experience with event-driven architecture and messaging.
- Preferred experience with SAP S/4HANA integration technologies and clean-core principles.
- Preferred experience with SAP BTP or Azure, microservices, event-driven architecture, AI/GenAI, and agentic concepts such as Model Context Protocol, SAP AI Core, or Joule.
- Relevant SAP Integration Suite or SAP BTP architecture certifications are preferred.
- Experience with SAP Advanced Event Mesh or comparable brokers such as Solace or Kafka is preferred.
