Responsibilities
- Partner with portfolio managers, analysts, and researchers to identify opportunities for AI and data to improve investment processes.
- Assess and map portfolio data, research content, manager communications, and third-party equity datasets.
- Design and develop a traceable, standards-aligned equity data layer.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations that automate data collection.
- Develop, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions and agent-based workflows for investment research, monitoring, portfolio analysis, and knowledge retrieval.
- Collaborate with technology, data, and AI teams on architecture, governance, security, and responsible AI standards.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to AI capabilities and best practices across the investment team.
Requirements
- Significant experience in AI engineering, data engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated success delivering production-grade solutions with measurable business value.
- Strong Python and SQL skills, including scalable data pipelines, APIs, and modern data architectures.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, information extraction, evaluation frameworks, and agentic workflows.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI principles.
- Experience designing and deploying scalable cloud-based or enterprise applications.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into practical technical solutions and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience in investment management, asset management, OCIO, or financial services.
- Preferred familiarity with investment research, portfolio construction, performance analysis, investment workflows, financial and market data platforms, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or Microsoft 365 Copilot.
