Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop reliable C++ firmware for spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules across the full mission lifecycle.
- Own software design, development, testing, verification, validation, and integration.
- Scope projects by capturing requirements and conducting initial design trade studies for open-ended problems.
- Build structured bare-metal, RTOS-based, or Linux-based software for embedded processors.
- Develop highly reliable and highly available software systems and support flight operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
- 5+ years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
- Experience developing and testing real-time embedded hardware and software systems.
- Experience developing in C++ with a strong understanding of language concepts.
- Preferred qualifications include aerospace safety-critical software experience, Python or Rust experience, and knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and computer networking.
