Base Salary
$168k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead Linux and cloud infrastructure architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Build automation with shell scripting, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows for Linux provisioning, patching, configuration, security hardening, and lifecycle management.
- Deploy and operate cloud infrastructure while integrating cloud services with on-premises environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver infrastructure capabilities supporting business outcomes.
- Improve platform reliability, security, maintainability, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in Linux systems, infrastructure, platform, site reliability, or cloud engineering.
- Deep hands-on experience administering, securing, and optimizing Linux environments.
- Cloud architecture and engineering experience with AWS or Azure.
- Strong shell scripting and automation skills, including a configuration management platform such as Chef or Ansible.
- Experience using Terraform to provision infrastructure.
- Experience with AI-native development and coding agents to improve developer productivity.
- Strong communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Preferred: expertise in Go or Python.
- Preferred: experience with GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions, hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud Linux environments, container runtimes, Kubernetes, immutable infrastructure, or automated operating-system image pipelines.
Benefits
- Base salary range of 168,000 USD to 270,250 USD, determined by location, experience, and comparable employee pay.
