Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise GCP platform architecture, including networking, identity, security, and shared services.
- Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and GCP-native tooling.
- Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and scripting languages.
- Architect, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for GCP platform and infrastructure deployments.
- Implement and manage GCP governance across Organizations, Folders, Projects, IAM, and Organization Policies.
- Collaborate with Security and Architecture teams to integrate compliance, identity, and security controls.
- Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and mentorship to platform and DevOps engineers.
- Enable application teams through reusable modules, templates, and self-service platform capabilities.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve GCP platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise with Terraform for GCP infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience with Ansible Automation or equivalent configuration management tools.
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and platform engineering practices.
- Advanced knowledge of GCP core services including VPC, Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, and IAM.
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering roles, preferably with 8–10 years of experience.
- Experience in large-scale or regulated enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with GCP landing zones, enterprise foundation patterns, Cloud Monitoring, Logging, observability tooling, GKE, and container-based platforms.
- Knowledge of GCP security, identity, and governance frameworks.
- Relevant Professional Cloud Architect, Professional DevOps Engineer, or Terraform certifications are preferred.
