Responsibilities
- Generate test requirements and define test methodologies with global teams.
- Design and execute automated and manual test plans for software, hardware, firmware, and IC solutions.
- Debug software and hardware issues, analyze IC functionality, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and support issue resolution with development and customer-facing teams.
- Drive test automation, validation framework improvements, QA best practices, and increased test coverage.
- Mentor team members and contribute to testing strategy, planning, and process improvements.
- Manage multiple priorities while balancing quality, timelines, and feature delivery.
- Identify risks, raise issues, and recommend product and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of Software QA experience, including at least 3 years testing software integrated with hardware or firmware.
- Strong Python test automation skills and experience with tools such as Qt Squish or SmartBear TestComplete.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, DevOps, Confluence, hardware/software test environments, JIRA, version control, QA practices, and development lifecycles.
- Experience mentoring teams, improving test coverage, and driving quality initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with electronics, microcontroller programming, and bus communications, preferably in power systems, semiconductors, or ICs.
- Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and measurement tools.
- Background in both Software QA and IC/Power Engineering is preferred.
