Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across teams and influence engineering direction, architecture, and technical standards.
- Design, build, and evolve secure, scalable, resilient software platforms and distributed systems.
- Lead architecture and design decisions using cloud-native and event-driven approaches.
- Champion software quality, testing, observability, security, resilience, and operational excellence.
- Own solutions from design and development through deployment, production operations, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor engineers, grow technical capability, and support modern and AI-enabled engineering practices.
Requirements
- Deep experience in modern software engineering and solving complex technical problems.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience building APIs, microservices, and secure, high-performance distributed applications.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, resilience, and full production-lifecycle ownership.
- Experience providing technical leadership, making architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and influencing engineering standards across teams.
