Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting retail media products.
Build and operate distributed systems for advertising, campaign, auction, and analytics data.
Develop low-latency services for ad serving, targeting, bidding, and campaign execution.
Optimize real-time and high-throughput data systems using MongoDB, Redis, and Algolia.
Implement reliable distributed message queueing with BullMQ and RabbitMQ.
Design distributed caching, cache invalidation, and performance optimization strategies.
Ensure systems meet reliability, performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Shape and evolve the AdTech platform across sponsored search, sponsored products, campaign management, reporting, and measurement.
Drive technical initiatives from concept through production and serve as a technical leader across cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with Product Managers, the Retail Media business team, and other stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions.

Experience building products in Retail Media, AdTech, MarTech, E-commerce, Search, or Recommendation systems.
Hands-on experience with ad-serving platforms, campaign management systems, search advertising solutions, auction or bidding systems, attribution and reporting platforms.
Strong software engineering principles, including object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, testing strategies, and API design.
Experience building and operating cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.
Knowledge of security practices including authentication, authorization, OAuth2, JWT, encryption, secrets management, and secure software development.
Experience with observability, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting solutions.
Ability to independently drive initiatives, solve problems proactively, and take ownership of software throughout its lifecycle.
