Responsibilities

  • Lead design, proof-of-concepts, and development of complex tasks within the Sportsbook B2B and Integrations value stream.
  • Work with architects to communicate, align, and implement architectural direction across engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with other Tech Leads to maintain technical consistency and drive technical excellence initiatives.
  • Identify, validate, and help prioritize technical improvements with Product Managers.
  • Participate in development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing, feature implementation, and maintenance of existing functionality.
  • Conduct technical interviews and coach and mentor engineers.
  • Evaluate technologies, understand their use cases, and guide strategic implementation.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background and understanding of non-functional requirements.
  • Expertise designing and implementing distributed microservices.
  • Deep understanding of C# and the .NET framework/core.
  • Experience deploying scalable backend solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Expertise with distributed systems and high-speed databases including SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of coding best practices.
  • Collaborative, proactive approach with a willingness to share knowledge and drive improvements.
