Responsibilities
- Drive technical excellence across the Player Account Management area by improving stability, performance, code quality, and development efficiency.
- Identify and champion measurable technical improvements, standards, and best practices for the roadmap.
- Collaborate with architects to communicate, align, and implement architectural direction and standards.
- Lead technical design decisions and act as a hands-on contributor to important technical initiatives and issues.
- Create proofs of concept and documented technical designs to support new product development.
- Research technologies and assess their potential application.
- Review major changes for technical quality and standards compliance.
- Serve as a key technical contact for product, architecture, and engineering colleagues.
- Participate in technical interviews, provide feedback, and coach and mentor engineers.
- Lead technical training and participate in relevant team ceremonies to stay aligned with ongoing work.
Requirements
- Strong technical background, passion for building products, and understanding of non-functional requirements.
- Expertise designing and implementing distributed microservices and highly cacheable APIs.
- Deep understanding of real-time messaging patterns.
- Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with observability practices for highly available systems.
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers, preferably in a similar role.
- Technical proficiency with the .NET technology stack.
- Working experience with AWS.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
