Base Salary
$58k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test real-time C/C++ software for multicore systems running Linux or real-time operating systems such as VxWorks.
- Transform signal-processing algorithms into high-performance real-time software for electronic warfare systems.
- Design, implement, and test software that configures and controls RF hardware devices.
- Integrate software with third-party mathematics and communication libraries and frameworks such as Redhawk.
- Implement software using communication protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, and DDS.
- Read and understand signal-processing algorithms written in MATLAB.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary system design and development with software, hardware, firmware, machine learning, RF, and signal-processing experts.
- Document developed systems and support field testing and collection events, typically about one week once or twice per year.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, plus relevant experience; internships may count.
- Experience developing real-time software in C/C++.
- Experience using version-control tools such as Subversion or Git and continuous-integration tools such as Jenkins.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux and experience with real-time operating systems.
- Active Secret security clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Preferred: master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Preferred: higher-level security clearance, machine learning or artificial intelligence algorithms and libraries such as TensorFlow, MATLAB GPU computing, high-performance computing, model-based design code generation, AWS, Python, or Java.
