Base Salary

$129k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain control software applications for mechatronic systems.
  • Develop and optimize motion control algorithms, embedded programs, and real-time control systems for industrial automation.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks and deployment strategies for control systems software.
  • Monitor software performance and system reliability while driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and automation partners to troubleshoot mechatronic systems and improve processes.
  • Travel approximately 25% to support onsite system testing.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
  • At least 2 years of embedded software development experience.
  • Experience deploying and supporting mechatronic systems.
  • Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, AWS services experience, Linux/Unix experience, CI/CD pipeline experience, and experience with CODESYS and industrial fieldbus protocols such as Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT.
