Responsibilities
- Contribute to existing testing tools, frameworks, and related solutions.
- Design, develop, verify, deploy, and maintain automated test suites.
- Increase automated test coverage and improve release quality and velocity.
- Analyze product, system, and feature designs for flaws and improvements.
- Validate platform-system, service, data, application, and customer-facing feature integrations end to end.
- Build parallel test suites for CI/CD pipelines, including flaky-test handling and test-result reporting.
- Drive performance and load testing of query engines, including latency, throughput, and bottleneck analysis.
- Help turn prototypes into large-scale core services and collaborate across multiple teams.
Requirements
- Requires 8+ years of test automation development or SDET experience.
- Strong programming skills and the ability to understand complex codebases quickly.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Experience testing web services and JSON, REST, gRPC, RPC, or XML, including unit and integration testing.
- Familiarity with entity relationships, type systems, structured data, and SQL or NoSQL querying concepts.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery systems and tools such as Jenkins and Atlassian products.
- Experience with Git, Stash, Bamboo, and JIRA.
- Strong investigation and debugging skills using logs, traces, and metrics in distributed systems.
- Preferred qualifications include graph concepts, data platforms, semantic types, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and security testing.
