Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across domain teams for architecture, design, performance, code quality, and technical standards.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software, including proofs of concept, through the full software development lifecycle.
- Design and implement React-based UI components for highly interactive user experiences.
- Define APIs for communication with backend systems and optimize frontend applications for speed, scalability, and reuse.
- Promote best practices for resilience, quality, scalability, performance, security, software design, and documentation.
- Collaborate with UX design teams to improve the end-user experience.
- Lead offshore engineering teams to meet functional requirements, quality and performance standards, and code stability.
- Help select and roll out technologies and tools and ensure engineers have appropriate training and resources.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field and 6 years of relevant software and web application experience.
- A master’s or foreign equivalent degree may substitute for the bachelor’s requirement with 4 years of experience, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree with 1 year of experience.
- Requires 6 years of experience with the full software development lifecycle, scalable software systems, client-facing web applications, and transactional applications in heterogeneous environments.
- Requires 6 years of experience with agile development, API and service design, object-oriented programming, software development best practices, and technical communication.
- Requires 6 years of experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Single Page Applications, web and RESTful services, event-driven architecture, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Git, and Stash.
- Experience may be acquired concurrently.
