Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust web applications and web services using Golang and React.
- Contribute to technical decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and provide feedback through code reviews.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, product managers, designers, and other teams to deliver technically sound solutions and integrations.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and automated tests.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and security vulnerabilities.
- Improve internal processes, documentation, engineering standards, observability, and delivery practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software delivery.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience for the Senior Software Engineer level, including experience guiding and supporting team members.
- Experience building enterprise web applications and web services with Golang, React, C#, .NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL or SQL Server, GCP, Node.js, and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience implementing and consuming gRPC and RESTful services.
- Advanced experience with UI and API testing using tools such as RestSharp and Cypress.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests as part of the development process.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, testing strategies, quality gates, and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum environments and consistent sprint delivery.
- Experience using Git for commits, code reviews, merge conflicts, and release tags.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, research, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS, or equivalent work experience.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
