Base Salary
$174k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and evolution of the data platform.
- Drive technical strategy for large-scale platform enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineers and leaders from other teams to create a unified architecture.
- Produce architectural artifacts to clarify complex initiatives.
- Act as a technical mentor for the Data Engineering team.
- Implement foundational components of new architecture with hands-on coding.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5+ years in a data engineering role.
- Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale technical projects.
- Extensive experience architecting data infrastructure in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Deep knowledge of the modern data stack, including data warehouses and transformation tools.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills to drive decisions on complex technical topics.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and lead others to successful outcomes.
