Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Work with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into software designs.
- Support code-base merges across multiple project streams and contribute to coding best practices.
- Solve complex problems with scalable, secure, maintainable software solutions.
- Define coding standards and contribute to technical innovations.
- Mentor and support software development team members.
- Build or maintain cloud-native applications and large-scale platforms handling real-time complex transactions.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems and perform other assigned duties while complying with company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 8+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java or Python and/or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and REST, gRPC, and GraphQL API protocols.
- Experience drafting coding best practices and designing highly scalable, secure, maintainable software solutions.
- Knowledge of caching technologies and DBMS technologies including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, including database schema design.
- Experience building large-scale platforms for real-time complex transactions and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud-native applications; AWS, serverless approaches such as AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes are plus qualifications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle.
