Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE systems and Spring/Spring Boot services.
- Develop and consume microservices, REST/SOAP services, and XML web services.
- Design Java microservices solutions and integrate client systems with external platforms, wireless carriers, and business partners.
- Deploy and support applications on application servers, preferably WebLogic.
- Work with JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and relational databases.
- Support and troubleshoot multithreaded enterprise Java applications and customer-facing applications.
- Implement automated deployments using Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Lead technical teams and contribute to Agile ways of working.
- Resolve complex technical issues and support multi-stack development, including front-end frameworks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with Java, the Spring framework, Spring Boot services, application-server deployment, messaging systems, and relational databases.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science.
- Hands-on AWS experience and AWS certification.
- Experience with Java microservices solution architecture.
- Experience with JMS, Kafka or RabbitMQ, relational databases, REST/SOAP, XML web services, and multithreaded enterprise Java applications.
- Experience leading teams and working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with React, Angular, or AEM is mentioned as relevant front-end expertise.
