Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain OpenCms modules, resource types, and formatters.
  • Manage the OpenCms Virtual File System and configure presentation templates using JSP and JSTL.
  • Implement HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript front-end components integrated with OpenCms templates.
  • Configure and manage Apache Tomcat and supporting relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, and Oracle.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical solutions on the OpenCms platform in collaboration with project teams.
  • Document technical solutions and support release and Git versioning activities.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience developing on the OpenCms (Alkacon) platform, including VFS, modules, resource types, and formatters.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and server-side development with JSP, Servlet, JSTL, and Expression Language.
  • Front-end development skills with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Apache Tomcat and relational databases including MySQL, MariaDB, and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Git and Java IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
