Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership within the KYC Due Diligence squad.
- Lead the delivery and evolution of Fenergo/Fen-X and Client Lifecycle Management capabilities.
- Design and develop Java-based solutions hands-on.
- Translate KYC, onboarding, screening, and risk-assessment requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Define technical standards, priorities, and delivery approaches for the squad.
- Review solution designs and code for security, maintainability, performance, and quality.
- Guide senior and mid-level developers and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with business, compliance, risk, product, and architecture stakeholders.
- Simplify existing architecture and reduce unnecessary complexity.
- Support AI-enabled transformation initiatives within the KYC and CLM ecosystem.
- Contribute to workforce and capability planning for the platform.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs in a complex financial-services environment.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of relevant professional experience with proven technical leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrable enterprise delivery experience with Fenergo/Fen-X.
- Strong knowledge of Client Lifecycle Management processes and technology.
- Solid functional and technical understanding of KYC and Due Diligence.
- Experience with customer onboarding, screening, and risk-assessment processes.
- Senior-level, hands-on Java development experience.
- Ability to make and explain technical decisions in complex or critical environments.
- Experience guiding developers, leading technical discussions, or coordinating delivery within a squad.
- Advanced English at C1 level.
- Experience simplifying complex or legacy architectures is a plus.
- Exposure to AI-enabled transformation in KYC, CLM, compliance, or financial crime is a plus.
- Experience defining workforce, skills, or delivery-capacity strategies is a plus.
- Experience with global banking or financial-services organizations is a plus.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, workflow platforms, and event-driven architecture is a plus.
- Experience working with compliance, risk, operations, and product stakeholders is a plus.
