Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead and main technical point of contact for the CoreMedia squad, clients, architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Define and own the technical architecture and design of CoreMedia Content Cloud solutions, including Studio, CAE, Headless Server, and Content Delivery APIs.
- Remain hands-on with complex development involving custom content types, Studio extensions, Blueprint customisation, templates, and Spring-based backend components.
- Lead code reviews and enforce engineering standards, test automation, quality gates, and technical documentation.
- Design and secure integrations between CoreMedia and e-commerce, PIM, DAM, search, personalisation, CDN, and third-party services.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and stories, and contribute to estimation, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
- Drive CI/CD, environments, deployments, release readiness, production support, incident analysis, and performance tuning.
- Manage technical debt, CoreMedia upgrades, Blueprint evolution, technical risks, and dependencies.
- Coach and mentor developers, support onboarding, promote knowledge sharing, and foster technical autonomy.
- Participate in Scrum and SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning and cross-team dependency identification.
- Provide technical progress, risk, and quality reporting using Jira and Confluence.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of Java/JEE development experience, including at least 3 years working with CoreMedia Content Cloud, CMS, Studio, CAE, Headless Server, or Blueprint.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, Freemarker/JSP templating, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs and headless or hybrid CMS architectures.
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Lead Developer with technical decision-making, architecture, code review, and mentoring responsibilities.
- Experience integrating CMS platforms with e-commerce, PIM, DAM, and search solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of performance, caching, security, SEO, and accessibility for large-scale web platforms.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or SAFe, with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients in onsite and distributed settings.
- Fluent English at C2 level.
- Experience with luxury, retail, or large multi-brand, multi-site, and multi-language digital platforms is preferred.
- CoreMedia certification or experience with CoreMedia upgrades and migrations is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or commercetools is preferred.
- Front-end or headless experience with React, Next.js, or Node.js is preferred.
- Experience with Grafana, Datadog, JMeter, observability, or performance testing is preferred.
- Experience with SAFe ceremonies such as PI Planning, Miro or equivalent collaboration tools, consulting, or French is advantageous.
