Forward Deployed Software Engineer (UK Defence)

- Work closely with customer stakeholders to identify valuable operational problems and objectives.
- Conceive, architect, build, iterate, and maintain production applications on enterprise data.
- Operationalize workflows that enable executives and end users to improve business operations.
- Embed with customer teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders of varying technical proficiency.
- Own projects and outcomes autonomously while delivering measurable customer value.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Ability to build production applications using large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Demonstrated record of delivering real-world outcomes through software, data science, or deeply technical analytics work.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and autonomous ownership abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client implementation work, typically 10–33% of the time.
- Current UK security clearance, previously held clearance, or eligibility to obtain clearance is strongly preferred.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP is preferred.
- Experience delivering production ML and/or LLM-based solutions is preferred.
- Experience delivering production frontend applications in React is preferred.
- Experience with Spark and distributed compute is preferred.
