Base Salary
$110k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable platforms supporting critical workplace applications used by millions of participants.
- Drive UI and foundational system modernization initiatives and modernize legacy components for risk remediation and compliance.
- Improve platform stability, performance, availability, scalability, resilience, and customer experience.
- Develop highly usable web software using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and client-side frameworks.
- Lead or validate designs for new applications and major enhancements across the application portfolio.
- Apply unit testing patterns and frameworks including Karma and Jasmine.
- Use AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot and custom Model Context Protocol servers, to improve coding velocity and workflows.
- Consume RESTful services and implement web accessibility and responsive design practices.
- Mentor teammates, create documentation, communicate with stakeholders, and influence technical and business decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of front-end web UI development experience.
- Extensive experience with Angular, TypeScript, and client-side MV* frameworks.
- Expertise in responsive design and single-page applications.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with web accessibility and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of authorization frameworks such as OAuth 2, SAML, and JWT.
- Knowledge of content management systems and content delivery networks.
- Familiarity with C#/.NET and ASP.NET.
- Experience with unit testing patterns, TDD/BDD, Karma, Jasmine, and other testing frameworks.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong technical and business communication, documentation, collaboration, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Agile software development principles and participation in a Scrum-based delivery team.
