Lead Software Engineer
Cadence Design SystemsResponsibilities
- Design and develop reusable geometry, visualization, and simulation software components.
- Architect innovative solutions and take technical ownership of projects.
- Design, create, and execute test automation frameworks and functionality.
- Use configuration management, build processes, debuggers, and release/build automation tools.
- Maintain the quality of components used by multiple products and follow organizational coding standards and development processes.
Requirements
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering, or equivalent qualification or experience.
- 7+ years of experience programming in C, C++, and Python, with exposure to client-server programming.
- Working knowledge of C# or Java and multithreading.
- Experience developing on Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of software component architecture, reusable software, and API design.
- Experience with at least one test framework, such as GoogleTest or PyTest.
- Experience with release and build automation using Azure Git Pipelines.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, software architecture, build systems, debugging, and geometry/visualization software development.
- CAD/CAM/CAE domain expertise and AI-assisted coding exposure are preferred.
