Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full stack applications for engineering organizations.
- Build web UIs using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python, Node.js, FastAPI, Express, or similar technologies.
- Design and implement GraphQL APIs and other application interfaces.
- Build and optimize large-scale data platforms using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Develop automation workflows for engineering productivity, infrastructure management, analytics, and reporting.
- Deploy and operate applications in Kubernetes and containerized environments with infrastructure teams.
- Build dashboards, reporting platforms, and data visualization tools.
- Integrate AI/ML and LLM technologies into internal engineering workflows where applicable.
- Lead software architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering excellence.
- Troubleshoot production performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate engineering and business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of related experience; alternatively, a master's degree with 3+ years or a PhD with 2+ years.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience building and deploying full stack web applications.
- Expert-level Python programming skills and strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js experience.
- Experience developing modern front-end applications with React.
- Experience building APIs and distributed services.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and distributed systems.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and Linux environments.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience supporting EDA, CAD, semiconductor design, verification, or high-performance computing environments.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, cloud-native platforms, CI/CD, DevOps practices, message brokers, analytics and reporting solutions, observability platforms, distributed job schedulers, AI/LLM-powered applications, authentication frameworks, and technical project leadership or mentoring.
