Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build integration features, RESTful APIs, shared libraries, and event-driven or asynchronous services.
- Enhance and maintain integration logic in modern services and established .NET Framework monolithic applications.
- Define and follow API standards for versioning, contracts, and deprecation.
- Design, test, deploy, and maintain solutions through the full software development lifecycle.
- Write unit, integration, acceptance, and end-to-end tests and maintain production quality and coverage.
- Participate in support and on-call rotations and resolve production issues related to owned work.
- Contribute to MeridianLink’s enterprise integration platform and identify reusable integration patterns.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and onboarding Engineer I teammates.
- Use AI coding harnesses throughout coding, reviews, testing, and documentation, and share effective AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience independently delivering production features.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including significant experience with .NET Framework codebases.
- Experience developing or supporting production APIs and integration features within large, established codebases.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, software design principles, API contracts, versioning, and synchronous and asynchronous integration flows.
- Experience creating unit and integration tests and using Git, Docker, automated testing, and modern scripting languages.
- Daily hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools or harnesses such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi, or similar, with practical understanding of agents.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure deployment and operations, event-driven architectures, enterprise messaging, event streaming, distributed systems, API gateways, API lifecycle management, Playwright, harness mechanics, VB.NET, third-party integrations, and fintech or financial services experience.
