Base Salary
$156k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own critical services in the Kotlin-based backend for the Insider membership program.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and Design teams to enhance the Insider user experience.
- Measure and iterate on program performance using experimentation and analytics.
- Reinforce Insider value across various customer touchpoints.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to best practices in design and system architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend systems, with marketplace experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience with distributed systems, service design, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with ML-driven decision systems and real-time data pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
