Responsibilities
- Build and operate the data platform infrastructure.
- Design and implement lakehouse architecture and streaming ingestion systems.
- Write production code and lead design reviews.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and consumer teams.
- Participate in rotational on-call pager duty.
Requirements
- Around a decade of experience in building data platforms.
- Production depth in modern lakehouse technologies like Iceberg or Delta.
- Strong fluency in AWS data services, Spark, Airflow, and Kafka.
- Mastery of Python in a production data-platform context.
- Experience in evolving live infrastructure for reliability and performance.
- Proven track record of leading major platform transitions.
