Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, reproduce, and identify root causes of developer-reported issues while building tools for faster diagnosis.
- Develop advanced knowledge of Google Play products, solutions, architectures, and dependencies across products and teams.
- Work with external developers to generate insights, create written guidance, write example code, author blog posts, design APIs, and propose product changes.
- Drive adoption of high-quality Google Play features and services.
- Act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert for Engineering, Sales, and developer organizations to resolve integration obstacles.
- Lead cross-functional technical execution and business operations for client and product partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Three years of experience developing and troubleshooting APIs.
- Experience with Java or Kotlin and Google Cloud.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience working with engineers, product teams, developers, and developer communities.
- Preferred: experience with C# and Unity or C++ and Unreal.
- Preferred: working knowledge of customer support and tooling.
