Base Salary
$114k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable automated test frameworks for the Android mobile application.
- Create and execute test strategies covering unit, integration, and end-to-end automation for new features and services.
- Build and own continuous integration pipelines that validate code changes and detect regressions.
- Analyze automation coverage, defect escape rates, test pass rates, and other quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers throughout requirements, design, development, and deployment to advocate for quality.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive automated checks.
- Improve test infrastructure and tooling to reduce flakiness and accelerate feedback.
Requirements
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with manual testing and automation testing.
- Experience serving as a QA lead on medium- to large-sized projects.
- Preferred: experience with an automated test framework such as Selenium or Appium.
- Preferred: experience gathering test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and defining product quality metrics.
