Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deploy, and provide ongoing operational support for features in internal AWS tools and services.
- Solve complex technical problems across the development stack while balancing customer needs, maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide code review feedback and improve code quality, testing practices, and engineering standards.
- Identify and drive improvements to developer productivity, operational excellence, and team processes.
- Mentor and onboard newer engineers through code reviews, design discussions, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on design reviews, documentation, stakeholder communication, and resolution of technical disagreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or CSSLP certification.
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Current, active US Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or above.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
