Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems, REST APIs, and low-latency, high-throughput transactional services.
- Build dynamic user-facing features with React and JavaScript and integrate them with GraphQL APIs.
- Use SQL to compose queries and investigate and analyze application data in real time.
- Participate in critical cross-functional projects, product roadmap discussions, experimentation, and iterative delivery.
- Understand the codebase, systems, and business requirements to implement effective application changes.
- Collaborate with teammates, advocate for strong technical solutions, and contribute to continuous integration and automated testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and development.
- Strong Core Java programming experience.
- Experience with Spring Framework, web services, and APIs.
- Frontend development experience with JavaScript and React and a solid understanding of GraphQL.
- Experience with AI coding tools, preferably Claude or Cursor.
- Strong SQL query composition and analysis skills.
- Experience using Git and Gitflow.
- Experience with Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud development, GCP, or AWS is preferred or a positive additional qualification.
