Responsibilities

Lead or support multiple hardware sizing projects through successful completion.
Provide precise hardware sizing recommendations tailored to business requirements and solution architecture.
Manage the sizing request queue and ensure consistent, high-quality output using current methodologies.
Collaborate with SAS teams, R&D experts, and field consultants to validate benchmarks and sizing recommendations.
Support sales and pre-sales activities with expert sizing and performance guidance through calls, chats, and email.
Contribute to sizing-program planning, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot performance issues across hardware, operating systems, applications, and network layers.
Analyze hardware architecture and workload demands to optimize capacity planning and software efficiency.

Experience with Linux and Windows Server system administration.
Knowledge of SAN, NAS, NFS, FCoE, Fibre Channel, CIFS, JBOD, RAID, and ANF storage technologies.
Working knowledge of CPUs, physical and virtual systems, chipsets, NUMA, cache, pipelining, and CPU affinity.
Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, including instance types, networking, VM scale sets, placement groups, and storage solutions.
Experience supporting and maintaining multi-tier application environments.
Experience with Dell and HPE systems, particularly performance and storage.
Experience with Kubernetes on cloud platforms; Azure AKS is preferred, followed by AWS, GCP, OpenShift, and open-source platforms.
Understanding of I/O throughput, latency, bandwidth, packet loss, and networking limitations.
Ability to manage complex projects, communicate effectively, and collaborate with sales, R&D, platform partners, and field consultants.
