Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement solutions across email, SMS, mobile, and related channels.
- Translate business and campaign requirements into technical configurations, journeys, automations, segmentation logic, and campaign workflows.
- Develop platform solutions using AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and GTL, and configure Data Extensions, Contact Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
- Support REST and SOAP API integrations, Marketing Cloud integrations, platform audits, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Serve as a hands-on technical resource for clients and delivery teams while participating in requirements gathering and technical discovery.
- Explain technical requirements, recommendations, and platform limitations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Review and optimize journeys, automations, data structures, campaign workflows, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Create technical documentation, workflow diagrams, configuration details, specifications, troubleshooting records, reusable assets, and coding standards.
- Stay current on SFMC releases, platform changes, messaging best practices, privacy requirements, and relevant capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement development or implementation experience.
- Experience with AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, GTL, Data Extensions, Contact Builder, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and audience segmentation.
- Experience supporting REST or SOAP API integrations and familiarity with Marketing Cloud Connect, SFMC Connector, or similar integration methods.
- Background in software development, technical implementation, platform configuration, SFMC troubleshooting, and development, testing, and deployment practices.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage assigned work and deliver solutions on schedule.
- Client-facing, agency, or consulting experience is preferred.
- Understanding of digital messaging through email, SMS, mobile, or push channels and familiarity with data quality, consent, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and related requirements.
- One or more Salesforce certifications, such as Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Administrator, Consultant, or Developer, are preferred.
