Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions and functionality in a microservices environment.
- Write, test, refactor, debug, and review code for large-scale distributed systems.
- Develop APIs and work with telemetry, structured data, unstructured data, and ML/AI algorithms.
- Execute automated testing and contribute to software deployment and integration.
- Collaborate across engineering and product teams to deliver software components.
- Use automation and third-party software to build integrated solutions.
- Maintain technical programs, end-user documentation, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Seasoned experience developing software, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Expertise with programming languages including C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Node.js.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365 cloud architectures and services.
- Expertise with SQL and NoSQL data stores, including Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and LXC/LXD container runtimes.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design, debugging, and large-scale data processing.
- Experience applying ML/AI algorithms and working through innovation, pilot, and production phases.
- Experience with software delivery lifecycle tools, source control, CI, testing, mocking, work tracking, and defect management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals and relevant agile certifications are preferred.
