Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions, functionality, modules, and cloud-based tools.
- Write, test, refactor, debug, and review code for large-scale distributed systems.
- Execute automated testing and contribute to software deployment.
- Develop microservices and APIs while working with telemetry, structured, and unstructured data.
- Apply ML/AI algorithms to large datasets.
- Prototype multi-vendor infrastructure solutions and demonstrate them internally or to clients.
- Integrate third-party software through automation and coding.
- Collaborate across engineering and product teams to deliver software components.
- Maintain technical programs, end-user documentation, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Seasoned software development experience, including microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Expertise in C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with cloud architecture, public-cloud services, infrastructure, and deployments across AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores including Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and LXC/LXD container runtimes.
- Experience working with large datasets and applying appropriate ML/AI algorithms.
- Experience with software delivery lifecycle tools covering source control, CI, testing, mocking, work tracking, and defect management.
- Experience working with geo-distributed teams through innovation, pilot, and production phases.
- Strong analytical, debugging, collaboration, communication, initiative, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals and relevant agile certifications are preferred.
