Responsibilities
- Build and operate client-facing Angular frontends and Java/Spring Boot and Node.js backend services for the APT application.
- Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, business logic, messaging integrations, caching layers, and microservices.
- Develop and govern agentic AI workflows using LLMs, tools, retrieval-augmented workflows, validation layers, guardrails, and audit trails.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools for requirements synthesis, scaffolding, code review, test generation, and documentation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, deployment automation, and cloud-native containerized services.
- Implement observability, logging, metrics, tracing, health checks, alerts, performance tuning, and operational readiness practices.
- Apply secure coding, authentication and authorization, certificate management, enterprise governance, and compliance standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, and create runbooks for production support.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Platform, architects, security, and risk teams to deliver incremental product releases.
- Mentor peers, share engineering patterns and playbooks, and drive adoption of pragmatic engineering improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience building web applications and backend services.
- Practical experience designing, building, and operating agentic AI frameworks, including LLM-driven agents, tool invocation, planner/actor patterns, retrieval-augmented workflows, state management, retries, fallbacks, instrumentation, safety layers, and model evaluation.
- Strong Angular and Java Spring Boot experience, with proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on Node.js experience and experience developing full-stack solutions such as MEAN or similar stacks.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger and API troubleshooting.
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably OpenShift.
- Practical experience with OAuth2.0, JWT, OIDC, authentication, authorization, and certificate management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release management, cloud platforms, and PaaS environments.
- Experience integrating AI assistants into development workflows and using AI models or AI capabilities in applications.
- Preferred experience with Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, reactive or event-driven architectures, microservice resilience patterns, and UX collaboration.
- Familiarity with Dynatrace, Google Analytics, Firebase, LaunchDarkly, or WalkMe.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, judgment, and ability to balance AI automation with human review.
