Responsibilities
- Write significant amounts of software code that meets project requirements and complies with documentation and design standards.
- Assist in leading software development projects through the phase gate process.
- Create standard documentation that translates project needs into software design specifications.
- Assist with overall architecture for software systems.
- Correct defects identified through QA and systems testing.
- Assist with requirements gathering and product definition activities.
- Support field test personnel after development.
- Coach other engineers and occasionally direct testing and lab support personnel.
