Base Salary
$194k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a low-latency, high-throughput secrets engine for non-human identities.
- Write highly concurrent, performance-critical code for machine-to-machine authentication and authorization.
- Define the long-term technical roadmap for scalability and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers to enhance their software development lifecycle expertise.
- Participate in rotational on-call activities with the SRE and product development teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend or systems-level development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep expertise in multi-platform Go development and high-performance, concurrent applications.
- Experience designing or operating distributed systems and secure systems.
- Expertise in distributed storage systems and secrets management platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure and ergonomic API design.
