Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in modernizing security operations using Google SecOps, including SIEM and SOAR.
- Lead the scoping, structuring, planning, and execution of critical security engagements with Google Cloud customers.
- Deliver cloud security architectures, compliance guidance, and enterprise security best practices as a subject-matter expert and advisor.
- Create security recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations for technical and business audiences.
- Collect customer and partner feedback and influence the Google Cloud technology roadmap through collaboration with product engineering teams.
- Travel to client sites for onsite delivery activities up to 40% of the time in-region.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Six years of experience delivering technical security solutions and one year of experience with Google Security Operations.
- Experience architecting and developing secure cloud solutions.
- Experience in consulting, project management, and owning security during high-speed executions.
- Fluent Japanese and English communication skills.
- Experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms such as Arcsight, QRadar, Splunk, Securonix, or Sentinel.
- Experience in IAM, network security, data protection, cryptography, security governance, or cyber incident response programs.
- Experience with broad enterprise cloud architecture and end-to-end solution architectures.
- Experience with PCI-DSS, ISO 27017/27018, GDPR, or SOC compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading complex delivery programs, managing executive relationships, and navigating security delivery and consulting across varied organizations.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, articulation, and influencing skills.
