Responsibilities
- Design and propose architectures for major retail and consumer goods customers.
- Create demonstrations and conduct proofs of concept to support customer business growth.
- Advise customer IT departments and executives on long-term cloud adoption and data strategies.
- Propose solutions for business and technical challenges, including AI use cases and modernization initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with customer decision-makers and executives.
- Deliver seminars, hands-on sessions, and workshops while providing technical thought leadership.
- Partner with sales and service development teams to incorporate customer feedback and improve the platform.
- Identify industry use cases and rapidly apply AI and advanced cloud technologies.
- Share customer and industry knowledge with solution architects globally.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in the IT industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in development, architecture, consulting, or systems proposal and implementation activities.
- Experience with multiple activities such as technical presales, consulting, solution development, requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and incident response for large enterprises.
- Experience designing architectures using cloud services and advanced software.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English reading and writing skills.
- Preferred: experience with mission-critical systems in retail or consumer goods.
- Preferred: experience designing or developing solutions using ERP, CRM, SCM, AI, or machine learning.
- Preferred: experience delivering digital initiatives in areas such as digital marketing, demand forecasting, store systems, or call centers.
- Preferred: architect or consulting experience at a vendor or systems integrator.
- Preferred: experience presenting to customer executives and speaking at industry seminars or events.
- Preferred: experience with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps-style development.
