Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and debug pipeline software supporting automated builds, deployments, quality gates, and test workflows.
- Provide technical expertise for software composition, configuration, deployment, validation, integration, and user evaluation.
- Develop pipeline automation with custom quality gates and API integrations across DevOps, CI/CD, security, and test automation tools.
- Define and improve DevOps processes and toolchain integrations for reliable CI/CD across multiple environments.
- Design, configure, maintain, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize Helm charts and templates within Kubernetes.
- Integrate, deploy, and troubleshoot microservices-based architectures across Kubernetes, K3s, RKE2, and related container platforms.
- Automate versioning, release management, configuration management, environment provisioning, and virtual machine lifecycle workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve Kubernetes, container, virtual machine, deployment, integration, and pipeline issues.
- Provide technical guidance on DevOps practices, deployment architecture, automation, troubleshooting, and implementation.
- Communicate with team members, project leads, technical stakeholders, and external partners, and influence technical and process decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field, or equivalent years of experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in an object-oriented programming language.
- U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Must be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within 30 days of employment.
- Experience developing, integrating, and troubleshooting web-based systems, APIs, and distributed or microservice-based architectures.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a DevSecOps environment and familiarity with DevSecOps best practices.
- Experience with software version control, repository tools, branching, and pull request workflows.
- Ability to work in Linux and Windows operating systems and experience with Bash or shell scripting.
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster types and Kubernetes applications such as Kubectl, Helm, or Rancher.
- Experience building, deploying, and debugging Docker containers.
- Preferred qualifications include active Security+ certification, an active Top Secret clearance, cyber security pipeline gates, Git, Bitbucket, Hyper-V, VMware Workstation, SAFe Agile, Node, NPM, React, Redux, Terraform, Atlassian tools, Jenkins, AKS, Helm, and Go Template Languages.
