- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD, and Cypress.
- Build and execute API automation tests using Rest Assured and Postman, including scripting and collection automation.
- Perform unit, integration, API, smoke, system, performance, manual QA, SQL-based data validation, and data pipeline quality testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage test data, test planning, and test execution across complex data and cloud environments.
- Work with Oracle, SQL Server, and data warehouse architectures and collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product owners.
- Own QA deliverables from project inception and design review through validation and release.
- Lead, mentor, and manage offshore QA engineers and provide regular project and quality updates to management.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve testing efficiency.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Cypress, and Java.
- Strong experience with API automation and Postman scripting and collection automation.
- Proficiency in SQL queries, data validation, and relational databases.
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS ecosystems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and data warehouse architectures.
- Strong experience in test automation and hands-on manual QA.
- Experience working in agile delivery teams and leading QA deliverables across the full project lifecycle.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and manage offshore QA engineers.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, documentation, presentation, and management-update skills.
- Exposure to GitHub Copilot and Claude is preferred.
- BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, BSc, MSc, BCA, or MCA education.
