Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement Azure cloud solutions focused on automation, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.
- Lead cloud platform projects including architecture, proofs of concept, production deployments, and migration of on-premise workloads to Azure.
- Build and optimise Azure DevOps YAML-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality checks.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and Git-based workflows.
- Create and maintain PowerShell and AZ CLI automation scripts.
- Contribute to cloud governance covering networking, identity, security, tagging, and operational processes.
- Support monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, reliability, performance, and security of Azure services.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, security, product, and infrastructure teams on platform designs and delivery.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to less experienced developers and support DevOps capability development.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services in a DevOps environment.
- Advanced experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including YAML.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell and AZ CLI.
- Understanding of cloud governance, security, networking, identity, RBAC, and resource organisation.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles including automation, observability, GitOps, and continuous delivery.
- Experience supporting cloud migrations from on-premise environments.
