Responsibilities

  • Act as the pioneering technical voice for Tailscale in APAC.
  • Partner closely with AEs to identify, qualify, design, and close new commercial opportunities.
  • Lead discovery workshops and deliver tailor-made product demonstrations.
  • Engage in direct R&D activities to solve technical barriers for customers.
  • Document critical field insights and regional product requirements.
  • Build reusable demo environments and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing technical teams to ensure service delivery.

Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of experience in a customer-facing Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer role.
  • Proven success in early-stage, high-growth startup environments.
  • Strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of zero-trust networking and IAM integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud environments and container technologies.
  • Ability to link technical decisions to strategic customer outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across teams.
