Responsibilities
- Act as the pioneering technical voice for Tailscale in APAC.
- Partner closely with AEs to identify, qualify, design, and close new commercial opportunities.
- Lead discovery workshops and deliver tailor-made product demonstrations.
- Engage in direct R&D activities to solve technical barriers for customers.
- Document critical field insights and regional product requirements.
- Build reusable demo environments and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with customer-facing technical teams to ensure service delivery.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of experience in a customer-facing Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer role.
- Proven success in early-stage, high-growth startup environments.
- Strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of zero-trust networking and IAM integrations.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud environments and container technologies.
- Ability to link technical decisions to strategic customer outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across teams.
