Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of GenAI-powered solutions for analytics and airline and airport operations.
- Design and orchestrate agentic AI workflows with tool calling, memory, multi-step reasoning, context management, RAG, prompt construction, caching, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.
- Build scalable APIs, backend services, data pipelines, predictive and optimization models, and AI/ML services for production use.
- Manage the ML and LLM lifecycle from data preparation and training through validation, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and iterative improvement.
- Optimize AI workloads for cost, latency, reliability, scalability, and safe production operation.
- Implement observability, logging, tracing, monitoring, alerting, security, data privacy, compliance, and Responsible AI practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, evaluate emerging AI techniques, and share engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders to translate operational problems into data-driven AI solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment.
- Hands-on experience shipping generative AI solutions to production, including prompt design, orchestration, RAG, evaluation, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
- Experience designing and orchestrating agentic AI systems from concept through deployment.
- Strong Python skills preferred, or Java/Scala, along with engineering practices such as testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn, plus statistics, probability, data modeling, large datasets, and distributed computing.
- Solid cloud experience, preferably with Azure, including serverless services, containers, event-driven architectures, API gateways, logging, and monitoring.
- Experience with MLOps practices and working knowledge of Responsible AI, security, and data privacy requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include aviation or airport operations knowledge, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Model Context Protocol, vector databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure AI certifications, and Agile frameworks.
