Base Salary
$90k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement manual and automated tests, including data staging.
- Configure performance-test environments and load generation.
- Review and analyze test results and identify, document, retest, and verify defects and bugs.
- Communicate testing issues with the architect, software engineers, and support team.
- Assist with local software deployment for testing and other phases of the development lifecycle.
- Provide customer demonstrations during Government Acceptance Testing events.
- Work independently with minimal supervision as part of a remote test team.
Requirements
- Active or current DoD Secret clearance.
- At least 4 years of software or test engineering experience, or 2 years of development team experience plus 2 years of automated testing experience.
- Experience applying formal and documented testing methods and tools.
- Familiarity with SQL and the ability to write, modify, and execute queries for testing and test-data validation.
- Experience using a modern ticket management system.
- Active Security+ certification.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and experience working with Agile teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Preferred qualifications include current GTIMS knowledge, Air Force network-environment knowledge, DoD system-development experience, and a testing certification such as ITSQB.
