Responsibilities
- Architect and build authentication and authorization services using modern security principles.
- Design and scale resilient gRPC and HTTP APIs and microservices on Kubernetes.
- Write clean, maintainable backend code and refine service architecture for product growth.
- Lead threat modeling, performance tuning, and reliability engineering initiatives.
- Own production services from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate across teams on the technical roadmap and secure-by-default practices.
Requirements
- Significant experience building and operating distributed backend systems in a modern, typed language.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
- Deep expertise in authentication and authorization concepts including OIDC, OAuth2, RBAC, and ABAC.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, Elasticsearch, and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Proven experience owning production services across their full lifecycle.
- Collaborative, pragmatic communication style and willingness to mentor others.
